Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m.

Our Winter Diplomatic Academy is an intensive practical training program that helps prepare early-career professionals for work in international diplomacy. It introduces them to the fundamentals of diplomatic practice and focuses on real-life aspects of work in national and local governments, embassies and consulates, international organizations and multinational businesses. The material emphasizes a skills-based and experiential-learning approach, and is not offered at colleges and universities. The program also includes career-counseling sessions. Participants receive certificates from the Academy.

Some of the most respected diplomats in recent years join other officials and experts to provide objective, non-partisan insight into policy-making and implementation, diplomatic protocol, the functions and management of embassies and consulates, public diplomacy and cross-cultural communication, immunities and other aspects of living abroad, and many other issues.
